We got this during the recent Purpleair smoke event from the Canadian Wildfires, which came down & blanketed my city. I went outside the first day not knowing anything was going on & it smelled like a building was on fire We have this small Germ Guardian air purifier, is germ guardian one word? Probably anyway we’ve had it on/off for the last year or more. Needling to change filters due to the poor air quality & the fact the old filter was likely useless, we got this. It’s not like this is a $500 air purifier to begin with so i wasn’t expecting a new filter to change that but it works well enough for what it is.
