First things first – the product I received was clearly a returned product. Which I have no issue with, however the box was torn apart and haphazardly taped back together. This to me is just lazy on the manufacturer’s part. Now when it comes to the product itself, I am a fan. I got this to help with the odor that comes from my daughters cloth diaper pail. It is plugged in directly next to the pail and it has really helped cut down on odors. This thing is small, so I think for people to expect it to help with odors in an entire room is a little unrealistic. As far as the noise level, it does make a quiet hum, but my daughter sleeps with a white noise machine so that is not an issue for us. I don’t like the lights that are on it. We were able to tape over the front light to help dim it, but the lights on the top are where the air comes back out so we aren’t able to tape over those. Overall, I’m glad I got this and I’m going to keep it. I took off a star for both the condition of the box it came in and the lights.
