Bought this ti replace a working older unit from original purchase.Unit ws acquired so long ago I hardly remember when but better than 10 years ago.Used quite a bit so I knew it wouldn’t last much longer. Started to use again due to Covid19.Sure enough the ORIGINAL LAMP failed. I was happy I ordered ahead of time, however, I barely got >10hrs service before the lamp failed. It started changing color so I knew something wasn’t right. A short time later the lamp failed. It was inexpensive at the time but considering how long the lamp can last, 10 hours was not normal service life and I know I did not get my moneys worth.Perhaps the lamp was damaged during shipping. There was no physical damage to pakaging and I know how to handle these carefully but I suggest that as the company is reputable. I may try again as a pair of Chinese knockoffs were DOA.
