Violet Bruno Pleco Hypostomus cf. cochliodon ‘L-137’ This is a very attractive blue-eyed L137 from the Rio Tapajós, and is only offered rarely. If you can add to cart, then we have them now! This is a medium-sized species of Hypostomus that can only reach a max length of about 7 inches or about 20 cm. The color of the fish varies greatly on gender and some specimens have very brown finnage, others have spotted fins, some have bright orange-red fins. L137 can always be identified by the blue eyes which are unique within this genus. Plenty of hiding places should be provided for this fish so that it can feel comfortable and reduce stress. It prefers to be more active at night when it feels more secure. These are extremely active plecos that will prefer to live in groups or colonies of other plecos.
