Great detail on these 10 Peruvian Ceramic Parrot beads! They were handmade by Peruvian crafts people. Molds were used to shape the clay, which was fired, painted a solid color and glazed, then fired again for a true ceramic hardness. Choose between 10 solid color (red, brown, dark blue, light blue, black, white or brown) or 14 mixed color (2 of each of the 7 colors). The beads are about 22 mm tall, 12 mm wide. The holes are about 2 mm in diameter. They run vertically, through the body, from the back to the bottom. Great size for hemp jewelry and fiber arts - knitting, crochet, weaving, kumihimo & macrame! Colors and finish may vary a bit from bead to bead due to their unique handmade nature.
