The blade is rust free and shows great cross grain and the only wear is runner wear. A real beauty of a blade for sure! The scabbard is dent free and has some light paint loss. There is a dent on the very bottom of the ball end. All screws are in good shape. There is light lifting of the plating on all fittings but a little heavier on the top guard. The grip is a beautiful cherry color with some light stress checking. The eagle is still the earlier nickel indicating more of a transitional piece.
